Medicine Or Drag Awareness For Us
The worrying news is that in the United States in 2014, more than 48,000 people died due to overdose. This rate is 6 percent more than in 2013. This problem is not only in the United States but also in Bangladesh where many people have to give their lives for taking an excessive amount of drugs.
According to statistics, it is not uncommon for so many people to die from taking sleeping pills or antibiotics. Painkillers are responsible for 81 percent of deaths. In the United States, the FDA or the Federal Drug Administration imposes strict restrictions on the sale of all food and drugs. The sale or transfer of any drug without the prescription of a registered doctor is strictly prohibited there. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. It is dangerous to take any painkiller for a long time without proper prevention or treatment.
In many cases, people are forced to resort to drugs such as pathedrine and heroin because they cannot afford painkillers according to the doctor's prescription. As a result, the risk of death has inevitably increased.
The situation in our country can be considered alongside the United States. There are no laws or regulations in the sale and marketing of medicines in Bangladesh. In fact, in the last few years, Bangladesh has made tremendous progress in the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, about 98 percent of the country's demand for medicines is produced in the country. Drugs are also exported to many countries. However, the domestic drug market is completely out of control. Excluding remote villages and unions across the country, there are countless drug stores in the capital itself. Most of which are illegal. There are also instances of selling drugs by ferry on the sidewalk in grocery stores or hat bazaars.
On the other hand, there are a number of pharmaceutical companies that manufacture and market substandard, adulterated drugs. In addition, there is a rule not to sell drugs without a prescription from a registered physician, but almost no one obeys it. Any medicine is available in any store without any prescription. And it matches not only painkillers but also sleeping pills and antibiotics. We can easily learn from the American experience the disadvantages of taking extra painkillers.
According to doctors, long-term use of antacids can lead to vitamin B12 deficiency. These health problems include anemia, neurological problems, and amnesia or dementia. Antacid drugs that cause such problems include proton-pump-inhibitors or PPI and histamine-2 receptor antagonists (Prevacid, Prilosec, Nexam).
Researchers say that PPI (antacid) intake of vitamin B12 deficiency is 85 percent more than normal. In light of this new research report, experts are expected to be careful in prescribing long-term antacids to patients. Researchers also say that antacids should not be taken for long periods of time without a doctor's advice. In the United States, more people die each year from heroin and overdose than from car accidents or shootings. In 2013, 48,461 people died as a result of taking an excessive amounts of drugs. In the same year, 35,389 people died in road accidents. Over-the-counter drug deaths have risen by 50 percent in the last decade.
In conclusion, human life is very important. It is not right to waste one's life in negligence. Life is one and there is nothing left to do. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid taking excessive drugs. Every man is an asset to his country. It is not possible for a wise person to harm the country by sacrificing his life in the game of Hela.
